Specialist case review for drug-resistant TB

The National Clinical Advisory Committee is the expert panel that advises on complex drug-resistant TB cases in South Africa. The Hub is where that advice happens. A case is submitted from EDRWeb, the panel is assigned and tracked against a service level, discussion runs threaded against the case, and a formal recommendation is posted back to the referring clinician in near real time.

It never stores a patient name or an identity number. De-identification to POPIA was a constraint the design started from rather than a feature added to it, because the panel needs the clinical picture and is not entitled to the person.
