TIER.Net

The national HIV, TB and ART electronic register

TIER.Net captures the data elements and the resulting indicators that the WHO paper registers define, for HIV, TB and ART services. Monthly and quarterly reports come off it, including the WHO Cohort and WHO Cross Sectional monthly reports, and encrypted dispatch files carry the data up to province and to national for analysis there.

It was the HIV eRegister before it was TIER.Net, and it extends ETR.Net, the national TB register we built before it. It is in use nationally.

Independent research

7 peer-reviewed papers, 2014 to 2026.

One of these analyses routine records covering more than one million people on treatment. The earliest sets out the three-tier monitoring model the register was built to serve.

The studies and their conclusions belong to the researchers who published them.
