WAMTech Systems is a software development and professional services company in South Africa. We specialize in the development, hosting, integration, and maintenance of systems used in public health, agriculture, finance, HR, and the implementation of technical services and information systems for the water sector, especially municipalities.
Our staff is composed of a highly skilled group of professional individuals with decades of experience working with key clients, partners institutions and organization operating in these sectors, namely: National Department of Health (NDoH), USAID, World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Janssen Pharmaceuticals, University of Cape Town (UCT), The Health Foundation, Donkerhoek Data, various municipalities, etc.
We also offer hosting, maintenance, training and support services to these solutions for many satisfied clients – big and small.
WAMTech Systems is responsible for hosting, maintenance, further development and supporting the South African electronic Drug-resistant TB register (EDRWeb) on behalf of our National Department of Health, as well as developing the electronic HIV and TB registers for the University of Cape Town. All three systems are in use nationally. In addition to these core areas of expertise, we also develop custom software on an ad hoc basis such as Payroll and HR, including mobile app development and provide various specialist services related to the software development lifecycle.
